Jefferson County Parks & Recreation, District 1 (P&R) has an "official" Google Group now, found at http://groups.google.com/group/lbjcc/about?hl=en. This group serves to communicate current events, news, etc. of P&R and the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center. Due to our obligations under the Public Disclosure Act, P&R will be utilizing this new group as its primary means of communication.

The new group is open, public, and your e- mail address/contact information would appear as a member. If you are concerned about your e-mail address, you can always create a new free e-mail account such as yahoo or hotmail that is not representative of your name. The Toandos community group has been very successful for everyone and we may choose, and encourage you, to continue to use it on a personal level. DIRECTIONS: Start by heading North from Quilcene on Hwy 101, veer right at the "Y" onto Center Road. Go about 1/2 mile past mile marker 12 and turn right on Dabob Rd. Go ? miles, and make a hard right onto Dabob PO Road. Go about 1/4 to 1/2 mile and make a left onto Coyle Rd. Drive 14.1 miles to Hazel Point Rd, (just past mile marker 14), turn left.

Laurel B Johnson Community Center is ahead about 1 mile on left at 923 Hazel Point Rd.
