Frank Norton Political Precinct bears his name. He was born in 1830 in Prussia. 1870 Federal Census: Union, Mason County, Working as a Lumberman Thought to have been at Coyle by 1874 1880 Federal Census: Dosewallips Jefferson County, working as a fisherman. 1881 Deed Records: Jefferson County Land patent Sept 15, 1881 Purchased another 40 acres April 26 1882. Norton still had land in the the area until 1904, although he began selling off portions of his property by 1890. |
